Maybe it’s because I seldom leave the comfort of my own home. Maybe it’s because I have formed such friendships on here with quite a few people. Maybe it’s because my panic disorder doesn’t stand a chance. Regardless, I wish you were all here with me. The people are nothing but nice (but staying in such a hotel, odds are, they’re on vacation too, so why would they be grumpy?) and friendly too!! Do you know the men in Boston actually hold doors for women (even strangers)? I only know of 3 men who still do this in NY; My Father, my boyfriend and my son. The woman are polite and friendly and easy to converse with. I brought my book outside to take a walk, sit under the umbrella’s and take it all in, but I never even opened it. I had pleasant conversations with a few women; one from Connecticut, one from Vermont and one from Ohio. None of them (or myself) had ever met, yet we all just kind of bumped into one another, or maybe had the same idea, and ended up in the same spot. Perhaps it’s because I have been so focused on peace and love, that these are the things being given to me. (What you put out is what you get back.) Well, day one was a success. I already wish we could stay for a month. Yes, this just reaffirms the fact that I don’t belong in NY. I want peace; friendship; to witness and participate in doing good deeds. None of these exist in NY. Everyone is so angry all the time. However, as soon as you cross the NY border, you’re always met with a smile. LOVE IT!! Well, our dinner has arrived (yes, we’re eating late because we needed a nap), so I must shove off. Be back soon with an update!!
Peace, Love and Happiness, Always!!
