A literary-minded witch gives you a choice: with a flick of the wand, you can become either an obscure novelist whose work will be admired and studied by a select few for decades, or a popular paperback author whose books give pleasure to millions. Which do you choose?
Neither, thank you. The 2 books I’m working on are both non-fiction, and based solely on education. Sure I would like to take the easy way out and have a flick of a wand make my writing earn me millions, but I’d much rather earn it myself. You see, I’ve got these two books in my head and I have to get them out. Maybe they’ll be a success, maybe they’ll be a total flop. Either way, I have to get them out. And I know from past experiences, more often than not, the easy way out doesn’t feel so good, and it doesn’t last long. So, thank you magical witch for the opportunity, but if my writing is going to be a success, it’s going to be because I’m a good writer with information for people to learn from. I’m not going to be made famous by the flick of your wand.
Sorry so short. It’s honest, short, and to the point. I’ve got to go… Doctors appointments all day. Hope you all have a great day!!
